Eligibility And Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old and able to use MedDuel responsibly as an educational revision product.
You are responsible for the accuracy of account details you provide, keeping your password secure, and all activity under your account.
Educational Purpose
MedDuel is an educational revision product. It is not medical advice and must not replace clinical judgement, local guidance, or professional medical advice.
Questions, explanations, scores, ranks, and feedback are for study and self-assessment only. They may be incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for a specific clinical situation.
No Medical Advice
Do not rely on MedDuel for diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, patient management, emergency decisions, or any other clinical decision.
Always use professional judgement, current local guidance, supervised training, and qualified medical advice where relevant.
Acceptable Use And Fair Play
You must not misuse the service, attempt to bypass authentication or rate limits, scrape content, interfere with other users, submit harmful material, or use automated systems to manipulate gameplay.
Duel, Arena, leaderboard, and tournament systems must be used fairly. Cheating, impersonation, harassment, abusive invitations, or exploit attempts may result in suspension or termination.
Content And Intellectual Property
MedDuel, its interface, branding, scoring systems, question bank, explanations, and other product content are owned by the product owner or licensed for use in the service.
You may use the service for personal educational revision. You must not copy, redistribute, sell, publish, or create competing question banks from MedDuel content without permission.
User Submitted Content
The current product lets users submit profile details, usernames, social activity, invitations, duel activity, and question feedback or reports.
You must have the rights to submit anything you provide and must not submit unlawful, offensive, misleading, confidential patient information, or personally identifiable clinical information.
Availability And Changes
MedDuel may change, suspend, or discontinue features, question availability, scoring, leaderboards, duels, tournaments, or access where needed for reliability, security, legal compliance, or product improvement.
The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, hosting provider issues, network problems, security incidents, or events outside the product owner's control.
Suspension, Termination, And Deletion
Accounts may be suspended or terminated for misuse, security risk, legal compliance, or serious breach of these terms.
MedDuel is designed to support account deletion from Profile settings once the hosted database deletion process has been enabled. When enabled, deletion is permanent and removes or anonymises associated personal data according to the Privacy Policy and the account deletion process.
Disclaimers And Liability
MedDuel is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. The product owner does not promise that content is complete, error-free, clinically current, or suitable for any particular examination or purpose.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, liability should be limited proportionately to the maximum extent permitted by the confirmed governing law.
Governing Law And Contact
Governing law: TODO: PRODUCT_OWNER_CONFIRM_GOVERNING_LAW. The product owner must confirm this before public release.
